After the HSC results comes the tiring and often confusing task of finding a university. OVEC provides free advice and counselling to make this process as smooth as possible. I had the privilege of interacting with representatives of renowned universities at the fair organized by OVEC in February.
Happy is too weak a word to describe how I felt when Ashna, a member of the OVEC staff, broke the news to me that I had received a full-fee waiver scholarship for the Bachelor of chemical engineering by the University of Newcastle in Australia. This is a huge opportunity for me. A dream come true. The University of Newcastle is an intensive research university and among the best in the field of engineering in Australia and the world. Hence I am very honoured to have received this scholarship.
I want to thank God for his grace, my family, my friends, the teachers of Pamplemousses SSS and Ashna, member of OVEC staff, who has helped me with my application.
